BETA CAE Systems announces the release of SPDRM v1.5.4.

This version delivers a number of enhancements and fixes to the users of the most advanced Simulation Process Data and Resources Management software.

Enhancements

REST API

The endpoint "api/dm/dmobject/attributes" has been extended to enable the setup of attributes for simple DM files in addition to data types defined in the data model.

The endpoint "api/dm/dmobjects" has been extended to enable the query for folders based on the folder's Name property.

The endpoint "api/dm/dmobjects/{id}" has been extended to retrieve meta-data of part instances.

System Configuration

It is now possible to restore the client auto-login functionality via OS user validation only without prompting for authentication / credentials, by adding the "os_username_validation" key in the configuration file of SPDRM client (taxisprops.xml).

Known issues resolved

System Configuration

The DM Export attribute would not be displayed in ANSA/META, in case the DM structure export path and the vault path are siblings.

Data Tree

The DM Tree filters would not be applied properly on RLIs, in case the data model contains the 'Type' property in the definition of RLI types.

Data Search

An error could occur in the Search DM window when applying owner-based query.

Data Deletion

An error could occur on Oracle-based SPDRM environments, when trying to delete large number of library items.

The deletion of a process/workflow instance would fail to delete its temporary data that was stored during the process execution, under the TMP data container.

Script API

The search workspace that is invoked through the dm.selectFilesAndFoldersByPathTypeQueryResults script function would fail to return pure/simple files.

Users Management - Security

Non-admin users were not able to invoke the Search Deleted interface, even if the required permission was assigned to their role.

Supported Platforms and System Requirements

The server software of SPDRM is currently available on Linux and MS Windows 64bits.

The client software of SPDRM is running under 64bit flavours of Linux and MS Windows.

The software requires a different license key to the rest of the products of BETA CAE Systems. This license key should be incorporated into the same license file, if such is already installed, and requires beta_lm, the proprietary license manager of BETA CAE Systems.

Customers who are served directly by BETA CAE Systems, or its subsidiaries, may download the new software and documentation from their account on our server. They can access their account through the "sign in" link at our web site.

Customers who are served by a local business agent should contact the local support channel for software distribution details.

What to download

All files required for the installation of this version reside in the folder named: "SPDRM_v1.5.4" and are dated as of March 11, 2022.

These files should replace any pre-releases or other files downloaded prior to that date.

The distribution of this version of SPDRM is packaged in one, single, unified installation file that invokes the respective installer and guides the procedure for the installation of the required components (i.e. SPDRM server and client).

For the installation of the software on each platform type, download from the respective folders, the .tar.gz file for Linux or the .zip file for Windows.

Earlier software releases are also available in the sub-directory called "Previous_Versions" or in a folder named after the product and version number.
