BETA CAE Systems became a member of the Association for Standardisation of Automation and Measuring Systems (ASAM). The aim of the association is to promote the international standardization of automation and measuring systems. For this purpose ASAM has developed a range of standards for different aspects of the life cycle of measuring data, ranging from the communication of measuring data recording systems to interfaces for data evaluation. The ASAM/ODS standard also provides a generic data model, interfaces, syntax and formats for selective accessing, exchanging, and storing measuring data.
BETA CAE Systems is a member of the Automotive Simulation Center Stuttgart e. V., also known as asc(s.
The asc(s was founded to support application-oriented research in the automotive field through the use of information and communication technology. In this context, the transfer of know-how from science to industry in the field of numerical simulation is the declared objective.
The concept of the asc(s is tailored to suit the special needs of the automotive industry and create for their members new opportunities for target-oriented development and verification of novel CAE simulation methods including their implementation and validation in commercial simulation codes. The objective is to reduce the time intervals between the definition of specifications and industrial application by combining the expertise from science and industry.
BETA CAE Systems , acknowledging the necessity for broad co-operations and alliances for the realization of PLM, supports the "Code of PLM Openness (CPO)" initiative and is aligned to its principles. We believe that openness and standardization in data exchange are key components for the evolution and deployment of efficient PLM practices.
BETA CAE Systems is a Corporate Member of the European Society of Biomechanics (ESB). The European Society of Biomechanics was founded in 1976 at a meeting in Brussels of 20 scientists from 11 countries. It is now the largest Biomechanics society in Europe with over 750 members. Our goal is to encourage research, disseminate knowledge and promote progress in Biomechanics.
BETA CAE Systems is proud to join the community to contribute to the increase of simulation deployment in the domain of Biomechanics.
BETA CAE Systems is a member of FEA Information.
FEA Information Inc. is a privately owned company maintaining a community for the promotion of technical engineering information through web sites and monthly free e-mail magazine. FEA Information activities include, web sites dedicated to specific applications, the LS-DYNA AVI Library, publication web site and a free monthly newsletter by e-mail. Participants to this effort are industry leaders in software & hardware solutions.
BETA CAE Systems is a member of JT Open program community
run by Siemens PLM Software. JT Open is an influential
community of users, software vendors, and interested parties
spanning the PLM value chain who, through an open distribution
of the JT technology under a level playing field business model, are able to exchange 3D data for the purposes of visualization,
collaboration and data sharing.
BETA CAE Systems is a member of NAFEMS.
NAFEMS is a vendor neutral, not-for-profit membership association of more than 800 companies from all over the world. The scope of activities spans the original finite element methods, through CFD to Optimization. As new application areas and techniques constantly evolve, NAFEMS becomes involved to create awareness and deliver appropriate education and training.
BETA CAE Systems is a member of ProSTEP iViP Association.
The ProSTEP iViP Association is an international association that has committed itself to developing innovative approaches to solving problems and modern standards for product data management and virtual product creation.
BETA CAE Nordic AB is an Industrial Partner to the "Squeak & Rattle Competence Arena".
The purpose with the competence arena is to develop methods, tools and processes for virtual and physical verification of squeak & rattle in order to enhance industry and academia within the area.
The competence arena constitute of several members with diverse background that all have connection to prediction of squeak & rattle. The main idea is to share competence, knowledge, resources and equipment between members for jointly defined projects.
Volvo Car Group and Chalmers University of Technology are the initiators of the Squeak & Rattle Competence Arena.
