BETA CAE Systems announces the release of NEERE v1.4.0.

This new release encourages you to further integrate NEERE into your daily collaboration processes by extending the portfolio of tools and capabilities and by enhancing performance.

Release highlights

The collaboration scenarios are further extended to include KOMVOS as a remote aplication.

File sharing whinin NEERE rooms is now possible minimizing the need for external tools and boosting the efficiency of collaboration sessions. Users are able to share presentations, images, notes and models up to a specific file size configurable during NEERE installation.

Performance improvements reduce the initialization time of applications and increase the stability of rooms under heavy load. Same time, search performance and avatar handling have also been improved.

Further improvements to avoid performance drop include the pause of the camera feed of users when switching to other tabs in web browser.

Finally, as an additional feature of enhanced privacy, the virtual background can be activated in the video tab.
