partners with Hellenic Open University

We are excited to announce that BETA CAE Systems and the Hellenic Open University (HOU) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to enhance their relationship and to combine forces in a framework of common actions.

This partnership aims to the expansion of training and employment opportunities for the students of (HOU) and the broadening of the continuous education options for the employees of BETA, through the mutual exchange of educational and training programs, and the access of the academic community to BETA’s software. BETA CAE Systems and the School of Science & Technology of HOU will collaborate on educational and academic research initiatives for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Moreover, the internship opportunities offered by BETA will prepare the students for a career in Engineering Simulation.

This cooperation framework comes after the successful Memorandums of Cooperation signed between BETA and three laboratories of the school of Mechanical Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece: the Laboratory of Machine Elements and Machine Design (LMEMD), the Physical Metallurgy Laboratory (PML) and the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Turbomachinery (LFMT). BETA partners with more academic institutions, in several other countries, to support education and research in the field of Engineering Simulation.

The support of students to pursue a successful career path in Engineering Simulation, through high quality education and meaningful internships, was always among the pillars of BETA’s strategy. The cooperations of BETA with higher education institutions galvanizes its commitment to support education, of all levels.

About the Hellenic Open University

The Hellenic Open University, founded in 1992 in Patras, Greece, is the first and only higher education institution in Greece that provides open and distance education at undergraduate and postgraduate as well as doctoral level.
